About Sishubhawan

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Post Graduate Institute of Paediatrics (Sishubhawan), Cuttack, Orissa is based on manifold historic backgrounds situated on the bank of river Kathjori amidst the lush greenery. This palacial building was the center of administration during Mugul, Maratha and British regime from 1568 A.D. till independence. After independence this building was known as “Rajbhawan” where Governor of Orissa used to stay. This building has witnessed the Instrument of Accession .
